Meet the Principal

Deborah Decubellis

Mrs. Deborah Decubellis
Interim Principal

I am excited to bring my skills as an educational leader to Fannin County High School andserve as your Interim Principal.  I am a retired Florida educator with 30+ years of experience.  In February of 2019, I began my career here in Fannin County as a Paraprofessional at East Fannin Elementary.  In January of 2020, I had the pleasure of joining the staff at West Fannin Elementary, as the Interim Assistant Principal.  During my career I have taught Kindergarten through 3rd Grade and have served as a Principal at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Florida and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from NOVA Southeastern University.   In addition, I have my Reading and ESOL endorsements.

My passion and love for all children is what drives me to do what I do each and every day.  I firmly believe that every day is a new day and must be filled with the best we have to offer.  I believe it is my job to support and encourage all members of our Fannin County family to be the absolute BEST they can be each and every day.  I am looking forward to working with and supporting the students and staff at Fannin County High School.

On a personal note, my husband and I are proud to call the North Georgia Mountains our home.  We have two grown children and two grandchildren.  Our daughter, Megan DeDonato teaches 2nd grade at East Fannin Elementary.  We love college football and are both huge Florida GATOR fans.  As a family, we love exploring the area and spending time with our extended family who live in the area.

I look forward to meeting and working with you all!
