I was born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in Titusville, Florida since the age of 3. My father worked for NASA as a Civil Engineer and eventually retired from NASA. As I grew up, I knew that I really enjoyed working with and helping people. I volunteered at a local hospital as a teenager and decided that nursing was the career for me. After graduating high school, I pursued a career as a Registered Nurse and have been working in that arena since 1989. Nursing is a passion for me, but for the last 12 years, teaching healthcare skills has been my new passion. I really enjoy working with the teenagers and seeing them complete the Healthcare Pathway here at FCHS and be trained as Certified Nursing Assistants. I hope to be here for many more years to come!
