I obtained my Bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University.  I then continued my education and obtained my Master's from Walden University.


I began teaching in 2002 and spent 2 years at Hiwassee Dam High School in N.C.  I then moved to Georgia and taught at Fannin County Middle for 5 years and Fannin County High for 7 years.  I am beginning my eight year at FCHS. 


I grew up in Murphy, North Carolina.  I went to school from kindergarten through second grade at Ranger Elementary School.  I attended Hiwassee Dam Union School from third grade until I graduated in 1998 from HDHS.   I attended Western Carolina University starting in the fall of 1998.  I graduated with my Special Education Degree in the Spring of 2002.  I taught in North Carolina at Hiawassee Dam High School for two years prior to moving to Georgia after marriage.   I began teaching in Georgia in August of 2004 at Fannin County Middle School.  I taught a combination of ESE classes as well as Connections Math.  In obtained my Master's Degree in Technology in the Classroom from Walden University in 2006. In the Fall of 2009 I transferred to Fannin County High School. I teach the MIOD Classroom at Fannin High.  My husband, Nathan, and I have two children, Nathalie who is 4 and Grayson who is 2.
