I began teaching middle school Language Arts and social studies at Rothschild Middle School in Columbus, Georgia.  After three years I transferred to Double Churches Middle School where I taught reading and social studies.  I later moved to the Savannah area and began teaching high school at Bradwell Institute.  While at Bradwell I taught World History and Advanced Placement European History.  My husband and I then moved and settled in Blue Ridge where we both started teaching here at Fannin County High School.  I have enjoyed teaching both World History and United States History.  I have also had the pleasure and opportunity to challenge students in Advanced Placement classes for both World History and United States History.  I look forward to many more years of service at Fannin County High School.

I grew up as an "army brat" moving around to many different places including Colorado, California, Georgia, North Carolina, and Panama.  After my dad retired we settled in Columbus, Georgia.  I lived and worked in Columbus until I decided to move to Savannah.  In Savannah I met and married my husband Robert Evans.  We have two daughters, Elizabeth and Alexandria, and look forward to Baby Evans arrival in January.
