FCHS TSA Competes at Georgia National Fair

On October 8, the Fannin County High School Technology Student Association (TSA) traveled to Perry, GA to compete in Tech Day at the Georgia National Fair.  Students competed in the following events:

VEX Robotics – Tractor Pull – Braydon Foster

Alternative Energy Design – Windmill – Cole Harper

Mechanical Engineering – Mousetrap Car – Luke Baggett – placed in the top 10 in the State

Structural Engineering – Miriam Foster

Luke Baggett placed in the top ten with his State Mousetrap Car Project.  The goal of the Mousetrap car is to travel exactly 18 feet in the shortest possible time.  Luke’s car traveled 17 feet 11 inches in 7.5 seconds.
