FCHS HOSA Attends State Leadership Conference

Fannin County HOSA Members competed at Georgia HOSA’s State Leadership Conference March 8-10, 2018 in Atlanta. The students also attended educational symposiums, conference exhibitors, and workshops. The Fannin County HOSA competitive event winners are: Trudy Cobb, 2nd Place in Sports Medicine; Reagan Young and Destiny King, 5th Place in Health Education; Emily Hamilton, 10th Place in Medical Law and Ethics; Mackenzie Moreland, 12th place in Nursing Assisting; Kristen Cantrell, 14th Place in Extemporaneous Writing. Sarah Morgan Received recognition for the Healthcare Issues Exam. Emily Hamilton won a $500 HOSA scholarship. Fannin students also competed in other events such as Health Career Display, Medical Terminology, Medical Reading and Home Health Aide. Congratulations to all of these Fannin County High School HOSA Members on a job well done!
