FCHS HOSA Blood Drive
Fannin County High School held a blood drive on Monday, September 25th. FCHS HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) members coordinated the drive, scheduled donors and educated students on the benefits of donating blood. HOSA advisor, Ms. Anne Soriero, and members were very pleased with the drive and the willingness of the donors to share this life saving gift. The FCHS blood drive collected 54 units of blood. Patti Wallace, Donor Recruiter, with Blood Assurance stated, “The efforts of Fannin County High School have always been greatly appreciated and their support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and ultimately saving lives.” Pictured are HOSA Members who coordinated and assisted with blood drive, Taylor Cobb, Hernan Mares, and Skylar Wright. |
